Based on the Quran, faithfuls are trained to cry:
Rabbana lana min azwajina wa dhurriyatina qurrata a a yunin waaj al-Muttaqeena imama. (Quran 25:74)
Translation:
Lord, our Lord, take away from our spouses and children comfort to our eyes and make us chiefs of righteous people.
This dua creates love within families; however, most importantly, it unites the hearts toward the love of Allah together.
