Here is a very effective dua from the Qur’an to seek Allah’s intervention in breaking an undesirable bond:
اللَّهُمَّ اصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي وَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهُ وَاقْدُرْ لِيَ الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ، ثُمَّ أَرْضِنِي بِهِ
Transliteration: Allahumma’srifhu ‘anni wasrifni ‘anhu waqdur li al-khayr haythu kana thumma ardini bih.
Translation: O Allah, turn him away from me and turn me away from him, and decree for me what is good wherever it may be, and make me pleased with it.
